What to write about
- Corrections — a tide time that didn't match reality, a ferry detail that has changed, a place that has closed. Please include the page and the date you visited.
- Accommodation and business listings — if you run a property on the island and something about your entry is out of date, tell us and we'll correct it. Note that we don't sell placement.
- Press and permissions — reuse of our tide charts or data.
- Privacy requests — see the privacy policy.
What we can't help with
We are an independent guide, not a travel agency or a booking service. We can't make, change or cancel reservations, and we have no connection to Itsukushima Shrine, the ferry operators or any hotel. For bookings, contact the property or operator directly.
For anything urgent while you're on the island — including safety on the tidal flats — speak to local staff rather than emailing us.
Response times
This is a small independent site. We read everything, but replies can take several days. Corrections are prioritised over everything else, and we don't need a reply from you to act on them.
